I have long thought of setting my sights on becoming an airline pilot but wonder if the pay is worth the effort. I would like to know what kind of money you could expect to make?
I am a junior in High School, and as I begin my college search (I want to be fully certified under a FAA-Part 141 flight school, and obtain everything up to and including an ATP; with aviation engineering as a backup major), I would like to know if you have any recommendations for colleges with respected aviation-programs (such as U of North Dakota, Perdue, Embry Riddle, etc...).
I am currently in the ninth grade in homeschool. I want to become a commercial airplane pilot for a major airline. Is there any certain classes you think I should take in order to become one? Also, after I graduate then what should I do?

Why is flying important to us today? Brandi

I'm very attached to airplanes, and I am sure that I want to work with something that relates to planes. I've been questioning myself if I should get into Aircraft manufacture or becoming an airline pilot, but I'm not sure about anything yet... What are your suggestions?
I was wondering if you knew any good aviation colleges in the southeaster region preferably Georgia. I am hoping to find one where I can graduate with a four year degree and an ATP certificate so that I can become an airline pilot and hopefully transition to a test pilot. PS. I was wondering if needing to wear glasses for prolonged periods of reading up close would affect me being able to be an airline pilot.
Hi. I'm 14 and for a few years I have wanted to become a pilot. I've flown in general aviation aircraft many times, and I know how to fly. I'm thinking of either becoming an airline pilot or a corporate pilot. Should I attend the Aeronautical Science course at Embry Riddle for college? Will I also gain my Private Pilot's License during that course? I am worried because math is one of my weakest subjects, is this a problem? I can identify every instrument in a cockpit from a Cessna 172 to a Boeing 777. Thanks for the help!
If I want to be a British Airways pilot, will they pay for my flight training?
Is it fun to fly a 777? -Kevin
I am a juinor in high school and I have definently narrowed my career searches down to aviation. I live in Wisconsin between Green Bay and Milwaukee and I cannot find a a college with an aviation degree around my area. Since I want to become an airline pilot, what college(s) do you recommend. Ideally, it would be in somewhere in Wisconsin.

Howdy folks,
I am a freshman in High school and I hoping to be a slushi bomber -- you know, putting out forest fires and whatnot with airplanes. You see, nobody seems to talk about slushi bombers much so I don’t know how to start and what kind of education to get so if you could suggest an website or something like that I would be much obliged.

If you are going to an aviation college, do you need to have any training done like ground school training? If so what and how?
What is the diference between a recreational pilot certificate and a private pilot certificate?
I want to become a test pilot, but im not exaclty sure what I need to do. I do not have my Private Pilots certificate and Im wondering if that is offered in college along with the commerical licence...Im assuming you need your comercial to become a test pilot. Im also a little confused about ground school... Is ground school included in the estimated costs that were given (4-6000) Also how much will it cost me to get the Commerical Certificate.
On a scale of one to ten with ten being the hardest how hard is it to get into commercial flight school?
What is the maximum years a Commercial Pilot can work? Thank You, Jesse
I am getting ready to seperate from the Marine Corps after 5 years in the avionics field. I have begun training for my private pilots license under FAR 61, and plan on obtaining my intstrument, commercial, and floatplane ratings in the future. Ideally, I would like to work for a bush airline. Would obtaining an A&P certificate be something I should pursue? Also, are there any problems unique to this type of airline that I could put myself into a position to solve, and thus be a more attractive potential employee?
how long does a trip take if you were a pilot for an airline? Joshua
I am currently in the ninth grade. I plan to join the Air Force ROTC at a
local college and get a four-year degree. Then I'd like to go through a
one-year program to join the Air Force and spend four years serving for the
Air Force. Eventually I plan to become a commercial pilot. I have a couple of
questions. Is this a good plan and do I need to go to any flight school
besides the Air Force to become a commercial pilot? Thank you very much!

Hi, my name is Ojas and I'm 16-years old. I am interested in being a bomber
pilot but want to know if military experience will help me in the future if I
pursue a career as an airline pilot. For example, if I was a bomber pilot for
10 years and decided I wanted to switch over to be the pilot of a 747, would
my previous military experience help me be a better pilot for the airline?
Hi, my name is Gabriel. I am a ninth grader in Moreno Valley, Calif. I am also part of the Air Force JROTC program

have a couple of questions. Do I have to go through college first to be a

Thanks!

I am a sophomore in high school and I would like to know what types of classes to take to prepare me for becoming a professional pilot. Thank you!
Hi, I'm currently a senior in High School and I am interested in an aviation-related career. I am considering a career in Air Traffic Control. I know that aviation schools offer bachelor's degrees in Air Traffic Management. Is it possible to go to obtain an undergraduate degree in another field at a non-aviation school? Would I be at a great disadvantage? Do schools offer Air Traffic Management programs for those who already have a bachelor's degree?
I would like to cropdust with helicopters and run a charter service. Are the age limits the same with helicopters as they are with planes? Oh and what do you think would be the better choice, the Exec 90 homebuilt helicopter or the Robinmson R44? I've been staring at both of them for years, unable to make a decision, and your input would help greatly.
