EAA Scholarships

The EAA Scholarship Program encourages, recognizes and supports excellence among EAA members studying the technologies and the skills of aviation. These annual scholarships help outstanding students who demonstrate a financial need to accomplish their goals. EAA appreciates the support of those sponsors who make these scholarships possible.

SCHOLARSHIP DONORS - Giving To Support EAA Scholarships

The generous donors providing gifts to support EAA’s scholarships are committed to aviation’s future leadership. Scholarships offer a meaningful and substantial way to help students with a dream to become the innovators, aviators and engineers of tomorrow. A $500 gift will offset half or more of the cost for an Air Academy summer camp experience or will enroll a youth in EAA’s AeroScholars web-delivered ground school course. EAA’s endowed scholarships are generally named in the donor’s honor or honor someone the donor feels is worthy of recognition. The donor acting in conjunction with EAA’s professional staff determines the scholarship’s award criteria. A gift of $10,000—the minimum for establishing a named endowed scholarship—generates approximately $500 per year in scholarship funding in perpetuity. Gifts in any amount are always welcomed and are greatly appreciated! If you may be interested in supporting EAA through a gift benefiting our scholarship program as many forward thinking individuals already have done, please contact: development@eaa.org Phone: 800-236-1025.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS
Scholarship applicants must be well rounded, involved in school and community activities, as well as aviation. Academic records should show that they could successfully complete the educational activity for which they are requesting the scholarship. With the exception of the Payzer Scholarship, applicants must major in an aviation-related course of study.

You must also be a current member of EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) or recommended by a current EAA member to apply for these scholarships. Learn more about joining EAA (
www.eaa.org) or call 800.843.3612. Individual and student memberships are available.

The EAA Scholarship program offers a direct benefit to current EAA members. Individual and student members must be current, active members from the date of the scholarship application through the date it is awarded.
